We have just two weeks left for Apple, as announced a couple of days ago, to celebrate its WWDC 2021. The most interesting, from the field that concerns us, of this conference is the presentation of iOS 15, the brand’s operating system for its current iPhone.
However, we do not have to wait that long to know the news of this new version of iOS Well, today rumors have reappeared on Twitter of what to expect from this revelation of Apple’s operating system. It all stems from Connor Jewiss’ speculation about what Apple has up its sleeve for phones compatible with this new version of software.
When I said I’d seen some iOS 15, I’m not going to disappoint:
◼️- Dark Mode UI tweaks
💬- Messages app tweaks
🍴- Food tracking and other new features in Health
🔧- Confirmation of UI changes from previous screenshot rumor
🔴- New notification settings and look on lockscreen

What to expect from iOS 15
Jewiss hinted that the brand has worked on developing a new lock screen, as well as a new notification configuration for iOS 15. This is not the first time that new notification options have been hinted at in the brand’s next software. Bloomberg declared the same at the beginning of the year regarding the possible what’s new in iOS 15. Apparently a feature will be added that will allow iOS users to customize alerts based on current weather or activity. There may also be an update for the notification banners.
The new rumors go further and a new function of food tracking in the Health app which will probably help iPhone users to track their dietary intake directly through the app. This, along with the expected glucose monitoring feature in the next version of the Apple Watch, can be a game changer for Apple’s Health app, expanding your options and being much more useful with the latest version of iOS.
Other updates that Jewiss suggested in her tweet are those that refer to changes to the Dark Mode user interface, as well as to the Messages app in iOS 15. It stands to reason that these system interface changes would also apply to other iOS apps such as calendar, calculator or mail, in addition to Safari.
In addition to iOS 15, Apple is also expected to announce updates for iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS at the WWDC 2021 to be held, specifically, next Monday, June 7. It will be then when we can confirm and deny all these supposed characteristics of the software.
